Lindsay Lohan is off the hook again. Somehow when Hollywood starlets, or ex-starlets in this case, break the law they always seem to avoid any real punishment.

The well known, on and off screen star, appeared in court in Beverly Hills yesterday. She learned she had violated the terms of her probation, yet again. This time she failed to attend substance abuse classes.

Of course Miss Lohan will not be going to jail. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel granted Lindsay’s request to extend her probation by another year, as opposed to actually having to serve any time behind bars.

Back in 2007 Lindsay pleaded guilty to two counts of being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to two counts of drunken driving and one count of reckless driving. Miss Lohan has now escaped further punishment three times. Prior violations were described as “misunderstandings”.

After finally showing up 90 minutes late to the hearing, Lindsay was so kind as to look bored and fed up during the hearing.

In exchange for her plea deal Lindsay was given three-year probation. Part of the terms required Lindsay attend a substance abuse treatment program. The program consisted of 26 individual alcohol classes, 26 group alcohol classes, 28 self-help sessions and six education classes.  To this point Lindsay has only completed 15 of the individual classes and 13 of the group classes and self help sessions. Missing several of the required courses landed her back in front of judge Marsha Revel who said Lindsay needs ‘get serious’ about her recovery.

Lindsay’s lawyer told the court that Miss Lohan has been hard at work on a new movie in Texas, resulting in her inability to attend classes in L.A.. Filming has now wrapped though, so Lindsay should have no problem fulfilling her end of the probation requirements.

Looking like a total train wreck, the troubled star, was dressed in black leggings, a black vest paired with a cream cardigan and cream jacket with studded lapels.  It looks like the break up from “Sam the Man” is not doing a body good.
